No one wants to discuss the silence in friendships—the slow drift that occurs when life becomes busy, and texts go unanswered, not out of malice but because our energy fades. We often overlook how friendships, once vibrant and alive, can gradually fade into the background without anyone intending for it to happen. It’s uncomfortable to admit that sometimes the people with whom we once shared our deepest thoughts begin to feel distant, like strangers who share memories.
